Bol is the oldest coastal settlement on Brač. It exists in the solitude of the southern landscape, at the foot of the Bol crown and Vidova Mountain – the highest island peak and at the same time the highest point of all Adriatic islands (778 m). It stretches few kilometers along the coast. The sea in front of it is crystal clear, transparent waves resemble a cut crystal. Bol has many beautiful beaches. To the west from Bol lies the beach Zlatni rat (Golden Horn) one of the largest and most beautiful attractions of the Adriatic. Like a small tongue it extends nearly half a kilo-metre into the clear blue sea.
The city of Split is situated in the warmest region of the northern Mediterranean coast, in the very centre of the Adriatic eastern coast and in the immediate vicinity of the rivers Jadro and Žrnovnica that have been watering it for 1700 years. Its mild climate, with 2700 sunny hours per year, makes it an oasis where, sheltered from the wind, one can enjoy the sun even in wintertime. The industrial, university, and business centre of the region nourishes its "green soul" on the hill Marjan situated in the westernmost part of the peninsula. Its forested park infringed by the city and the sea offers pleasant walks away from the city noise under the pines by the sea.
Dubrovnik is a medieval city on the Croatian side of the Adriatic coastline and a treasure - trove of cultural - historical monuments that were created throughout its thousand-year existence. In the past, it was a City-Republic, and alongside Venice one of the most famous cultural-economic centers on the Mediterranean. In more recent times, it has become the center of modern cultural and tourist events: a city of summer festivals – an international parade of top musical and theatrical achievements, a city of museums and galleries. These values have turned Dubrovnik into a place that offers a rich selection of various experiences and excitement, but also a complete holiday in a quiet and calming, mild Mediterranean ambience and wonderful seaside landscapes.
Medugorje owns its popularity to the appereance of the Virgin Mary, who started to appear to a local group of kids the 24 June 1981. The kids were scared at first and run away, but the curiosity of the kids was stronger than the fear and the next day, on the same hour, they went to the place of the appereance where the Virgin show herself again and invited them to pray with her. That day, the 25 June, is celebrated as an anniversary of the Peace Quenn as the Virgin Mary introduced herself to the kids that day.
The city of Hvar is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and mundane, tourist present.
